Ideas are everywhere. What matters is what you do with them.
Welcome to INSPIRE Hackathon, a multidisciplinary innovation experience created for people who see problems differently, challenge conventional thinking, and want to turn ideas into something meaningful.
INSPIRE is not limited to traditional software development. It is built around a simple belief: innovation does not belong to one profession, one industry, or one skill set. A great solution can come from a programmer, an architect, an engineer, a designer, a researcher, a business strategist, a marketer, or a student with a completely new perspective.
Participants can choose from a wide range of challenge areas, including Software & Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Architecture & Urban Development, Logistics & Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Product & Industrial Design, Business & Finance, Marketing & Brand Innovation, Sustainability & Climate, Healthcare & Human Wellbeing, and Education & Social Impact.
Your challenge is simple: identify something worth improving and show us how you would improve it.
You may build a digital product, develop an engineering concept, create a new business model, redesign an existing experience, develop a sustainability solution, propose an architectural system, create a campaign, develop a research-backed concept, or combine multiple disciplines into something entirely new.
INSPIRE encourages experimentation. Your project does not need to be perfect. It needs to demonstrate thought, purpose, creativity, and execution.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas through Devpost, receive feedback through the judging process, and compete for recognition across multiple award categories.
Whether you are participating for the first time or already have experience building projects, INSPIRE gives you a space to demonstrate what you can do.
Think about a problem you have personally experienced. Look at an industry you believe could work better. Imagine how technology, design, engineering, business, or creativity could change an existing process.
Then build your answer.
Don't wait for someone else to solve the problem. Be the person who starts.
INSPIRE Hackathon is your opportunity to move from thought → concept → solution → impact.
Think differently. Create boldly. Inspire what comes next.
Requirements
Your submission should communicate not only what you built, but also why you built it, who it helps, and how it could create value.
INSPIRE is intentionally open to different disciplines, so submissions do not need to follow a single technical format. A software team and an architecture team may submit completely different types of projects, but both should demonstrate a clear problem, thoughtful solution, and meaningful execution.
Every project must include the following information on Devpost:
1. Project NameGive your project a clear and memorable name. The title should help the judges immediately understand the identity of your solution.
2. Challenge CategorySelect the category that best represents your project. Available areas include:
- Software & Technology
- Artificial Intelligence
- Architecture & Urban Innovation
- Logistics & Supply Chain
- Mechanical Engineering
- Product & Industrial Design
- Business & Finance
- Marketing & Brand Innovation
- Sustainability & Climate
- Healthcare & Human Wellbeing
- Education & Social Impact
Projects that combine multiple disciplines may identify a primary category and explain their interdisciplinary approach.
3. The ProblemExplain the problem you are addressing. Describe who experiences it, why it matters, and what limitations currently exist.
4. The SolutionExplain your idea clearly. What have you created? How does it work? What makes your approach different?
5. Development & ProcessDescribe how you developed the solution. Depending on your category, this could include coding, research, engineering, prototyping, design, testing, market analysis, architectural planning, simulations, or other relevant processes.
6. DemonstrationProvide appropriate evidence of your work. This may include a working prototype, screenshots, design files, CAD models, architectural drawings, business plans, research documents, simulations, physical prototype photographs, or other supporting materials.
7. Project PresentationInclude a concise explanation of your project, its purpose, key features, expected users, and potential impact.
8. Demo VideoA short demonstration video is strongly recommended. It should show your project clearly and explain the most important aspects of your solution.
Participants should ensure that all submitted work is their own or properly attributed and that all third-party resources comply with applicable licenses.
Your submission should make the judges understand the idea even if they only have a few minutes to review it.
